Tempered Glass

We are a tempered glass manufacturer in China. Tempered glass is used for manufacturing glass door, window door, glass table, glass shower enclosure and glass shower room. It is widely applied in the construction, automobile, shipping, airship, instrument, meter and furniture industries. The thickness of tempered glass is from 4mm to 19mm. The minimum size is 300×300mm and the maximum size is 2440×3300mm.

Packing Method of Tempered Glass
Tempered glass should be packed in container and wooden box. Every piece of glass should be wrapped in a plastic bag and paper. The space among the packing boxes should be filled with the light and soft materials which can prevent the glass from damage. Every packing box should be marked "upward, handle with care, fragile, glass thickness, grade, name of the manufacturer or trademark". During the transport, the wooden boxes shouldn't be laid flat or diagonal. The long side of the wooden boxes should be placed in the moving direction of the vehicle. The tempered glass should be stored in drying rooms. Rainproof measures should be taken into consideration.

Features of Tempered Glass
1. High Safety
For qualified tempered glass, when it breaks, the fragments are very small. In the area of 50mmx50mm, there are no less than 40 fragments. The section and the surface of fragments are basically upright with no sharp angles, which ensures no damage to people.
2. Impact Force Resistance
Tempered glass can bear the impact force from the free-falling steel ball of 1040g from 1m height and doesn't break.
3. Flexural Strength
The flexural strength of tempered glass is up to 200Mpa.
4. Optical Performance
The optical performance of glass doesn't change through tempering.
5. Thermostability
After pouring the molten lead liquid (3270C) on the room-temperature glass, the glass will not break. Heat the tempered glass to 200 degrees C and then put it into the water at 250 degrees C , the glass will not break.
